A USA based Diaspora association rooted in Ntong heritage
Ntong Cultural and Development Association – Diaspora USA (NTOCUDA DIASPORA USA) is an independent Diaspora community association based in the United States, currently organizing as a Maryland nonprofit corporation.
Who we are
We are a global Diaspora community of sons, daughters, descendants, spouses, friends, and supporters of Ntong, united by our shared heritage and commitment to the progress of our people. Through NTOCUDA Diaspora USA, we preserve our culture, strengthen unity abroad, and mobilize resources for lasting development in Ntong and among our members worldwide.
Our mission
NTOCUDA DIASPORA USA exists to unite sons, daughters, descendants, spouses, friends, and supporters of Ntong across the United States and global Diaspora; preserve Ntong cultural heritage; support education; promote welfare; and mobilize resources for charitable, educational, cultural, and community development projects.

Cultural identity & Diaspora unity
Distance does not diminish belonging. Our cultural identity is a living inheritance — languages, customs, values, and stories carried across generations and continents. Through NTOCUDA DIASPORA USA, the Ntong Diaspora finds a home away from home and a structured way to give back.
Our history — Cameroon and the USA
NTOCUDA began as a community development association in Ntong, Cameroon, in the 1980s and was officially authorized there in 2005. That history belongs to the home association in Nwa Town, Nwa Sub-Division, Donga-Mantung Division, North-West Region, Cameroon.
NTOCUDA DIASPORA USA was established in 2024 as a separate USA based Diaspora chapter. It is a distinct organization with its own membership, officers, records, and finances. The USA chapter does not claim the Cameroon association's legal registration, tax status, assets, or liabilities, and the Cameroon association is not responsible for those of the USA chapter.
Our USA legal status
We are organizing as a Maryland nonprofit corporation under the proposed name Ntong Cultural and Development Association – Diaspora USA, Inc., and we intend to apply to the Internal Revenue Service for recognition under Section 501(c)(3). We have not yet filed Articles of Incorporation, we do not yet hold an EIN, and we have not received an IRS determination letter. The current status of every filing and policy is published on our Transparency page.
We are building the organization to nonprofit governance standards from the start: an accountable Board, published policies, conflict-of-interest review, honest record-keeping, and a clear public benefit purpose.
Supporting our work today
We are currently recording non-binding pledges while Maryland formation, charitable-solicitation compliance, organizational banking, and related controls are completed. Please do not send money to a personal account. Official payment instructions will be published only after the Board confirms that the organization is legally and operationally ready to accept funds. A pledge is not a donation or tax receipt.
